WithOneSeed’s facebook gains momentum

WithOneSeed we’re using social media to increase our reach, to better inform the community, increase awareness and mobilise the support needed to create sustainable environments. In the past few days WithOneSeed’s facebook ‘Likes’ have increased by 54% generating a potential network of more than 12,000 ‘Friends of facebook.’

Social media is a great way for social enterprises to reach new audiences, communicate with existing ones, and network with key stakeholders and organisations across the world. Social media is helping to network support for our work that is influencing sustainable practices and building environmental awareness and regional understanding.

Social media enables small bite-sized pieces of information to reach large audiences. This is particularly useful in communicating statistics on how we, as a global community, are using computer technology everyday.
