The big dry

Left Dili at 10.30 this morning to drive to Baguia.  The road from Dili to Baucau is still in reasonable shape but once through Laga and heading up the mountain road it gets very bad very quickly.

I have not seen the country as dry and dusty as it is at present. There is no sign of there having been any rain for quite some time.

Arrived safely at 7.30.  A long day in the car.  But that is another story.
