It all starts with one seed

WithOneSeed staff gathered in Baguia recently to learn about the germination process and storage of mahogany seeds. It is anticipated that 12,000 mahogany seedlings will be propagated at WithOneSeed nurseries each year, for distribution to the Community Tree Cooperatives.

WithOneSeed is seeking support and advice from Dili-based social enterprises PermaTL and CCT, to provide permaculture expertise and facilitate training programs for WithOneSeed staff and Community Tree Cooperative farmers.

Universal education is one of the four guiding principles of WithOneSeed and this training will help to better equip the community with the skills and knowledge to develop sustainable farming practises and environments.
