WithOneSeed connects Baguia to the world

It is with great excitement that today the first WithOneSeed village-based Technology Resource Hub in Baguia, Timor Leste is connected to a satellite internet service.

The satellite dish, set up by WithOneSeed in association with InfoTimor, will provide access to 21st-century communications technology.

The hub will also provide a range of education, training and e-learning opportunities, providing people living in the Sub District of Baguia with access to education and learning resources that are openly accessible in Australia.

“The potential for this technology in remote communities, opens up possibilities for communities across the Asia Pacific region to connect, share, collaborate and learn from each other,” said Andrew Mahar, Co-founder WithOneSeed.
