Winners at RHoK

RHoKWithOneSeed winners at the 2013 Melbourne RHoK hackathon.

Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) Melbourne is a not-for-profit local group that is part of a global movement of hackers who are hacking for good around the world.

Last weekend there were 20 events held in different cities around the world. WithOneSeed participated in the Melbourne event, where professional designers, developers, technology innovators and ICT students came together to volunteer their time and skills to work on six social projects.

Many thanks to Dallas, ViKash, Gable and Aanchal, who worked with WithOneSeed activist, Lyn Jenkin, over the weekend to develop a new app called ‘MyCabonCapture’ – an interactive carbon tracking, offsetting and educational tool, which will be developed for iOS and Android.

Thanks also to DiUS and Swinburne University of Technology for sponsoring the event. To find out more about RHoK or how to get involved in the next hackathon event visit
